Pandishpan (Swiss Roll)

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder (this is a guess, grandma’s recipe says 1 sachet)
  • filling of your choice, e.g. whipped cream and strawberry jam

Steps

  • Preheat over to 180C
  • Mix all the ingredients except the filling together to make the batter
  • Line and grease a baking tray
  • Pour the batter in the tray and spread evenly
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly golden (this is a guess, grandma’s recipe gives no baking instructions)
  • Turn over on a towel and let cool for about 10 minutes
  • Spread the filling and roll gently to form a swiss roll
