Pandishpan (Swiss Roll)

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder (this is a guess, grandma’s recipe says 1 sachet)
  • filling of your choice, e.g. whipped cream and strawberry jam

Method

  1. Preheat over to 180C
  2. Mix all the ingredients except the filling together to make the batter
  3. Line and grease a baking tray
  4. Pour the batter in the tray and spread evenly
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly golden (this is a guess, grandma’s recipe gives no baking instructions)
  6. Turn over on a towel and let cool for about 10 minutes
  7. Spread the filling and roll gently to form a swiss roll
